Robert Barrs is a RICS Chartered Surveyor with over three decades of experience advising on valuations, acquisitions, planning, and business rates within the caravan park and holiday property sector.
Having previously worked at the VOA and as an associate director at Humberts Leisure (Avison Young) he founded Barrs & Co in 1999 and has since led the firm’s growth into one of the most trusted specialist practices in the UK.
As national advisor to the British Holiday & Home Parks Association (BH&HPA), Robert represents the industry in valuation matters at the highest level and has successfully managed numerous complex, high-value transactions nationwide.

Sarah Barrs holds a Bachelor of Law degree and began her career as a Solicitor practising Commercial, Property and Planning law in Leeds before joining Barrs & Co in 2011.
As a director she now specialises in land and property matters, applying her legal expertise to support the firm’s work across valuations, planning, and agency.
With over 15 years of industry experience, Sarah has built a detailed understanding of every aspect of the business and plays a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of service delivered to clients.
As the first point of contact for many, Sarah oversees client communication, enquiry handling, and operational coordination. Her depth of knowledge, efficiency, and personable approach are central to the smooth running of the firm and the high standard of support our clients receive.

Thomas Barrs holds a RICS-accredited BSc (Hons) in Real Estate and brings a strong background in valuation, agency, and property investment. He began his career at Christie & Co, carrying out RICS-compliant valuations across a wide range of trading assets, including caravan parks, care homes, hotels, and pubs, alongside agency work focused on business sales.
He later joined the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, where he worked in the property investment team managing complex acquisitions, disposals, and portfolio strategy on behalf of the council.
Thomas joined Barrs & Co in February 2025 with a clear commitment to growing the business and build on its reputation for delivering high-quality, professional advice.
His commercial experience and sector knowledge strengthen the firm’s position as a trusted advisor within the holiday property and leisure industry.
